    Andrew has worked in water resources civil engineering in the Pacific Northwest since 1994, managing a wide variety of water resources related projects, including: analysis and design of facilities for stormwater, wastewater, drinking water, stream improvement, roads, and site development; project management; design of treatment facilities, piping,  pumping systems, and water storage; hydrologic and hydraulic modeling studies; and water quality monitoring, assessment, and modeling of streams, lakes, groundwater and marine waters.

  • Jeffrey Christner, PESenior Project Engineer, Partner

    Jeff has worked in civil engineering and project management since 1995. His expertise in city infrastructure replacement and land development includes: design and construction management of water mains, sanitary sewers, pump stations, storm sewers, and water/wastewater treatment plants. Other experience includes feasibility studies, cost estimates, subdivision platting, and local streets and major thoroughfares.

    Melanie Mankamyer has worked in the engineering field since 1984.  Her expertise in Civil Engineering and Project Management is in engineering analyses, water and sewer system design, and project management.  She has experience in comprehensive planning and developing water and wastewater resources.

    Michael Matthes has been in the engineering industry since 1988 and joined Wilson Engineering in 2009. Michael's civil engineering and project management expertise are in infrastructure development, roads, trails, utilities, and stormwater management.  Michael is very knowledgeable in sewer, water, drainage, and roadway analysis and design.  He also is experienced in engineering studies, master drainage plans, drainage studies, infrastructure evaluations, and water and wastewater distribution and collection.

    Liz Sterling has worked in the engineering field and with Wilson Engineering since 1991.  Her expertise in Civil Engineering and Project Management is in comprehensive planning, preparation of project budgets and schedules, loan/grant application preparation.  Her design expertise is in site work, roadway, underground utility, stormwater and pump station design.  Liz also has experience in construction management as a field superintendent and construction claims manager.

  • Ryan Griggs, EITDesign Engineer

    Ryan is an engineer-in-training who has been with Wilson Engineering since the beginning of 2015.  He is very knowledgeable in construction inspection, wastewater treatment design and contaminated site remediation. In the time he has been working with Wilson Engineering he has gained experience in civil site design, wastewater facility design, Western Washington stormwater regulations, construction specifications, stormwater modeling and water quality sampling.

  • Danielle Johnston, PESenior Project Engineer

    Danielle has coordinated the design and construction of many private and public projects involving transit facilities, schools, utilities, roadways, trails, parks, underground structures, stormwater management and general building site plans. She also has had extensive experience coordinating the efforts of professionals from multiple disciplines and acting as a liaison between clients, municipalities, and contractors. Danielle has many years of experience in facility design, construction and value engineering.  As a tribal member of the Chinook Nation, Danielle is sensitive to issues that are of importance to other tribal communities.

  • Jenifer Ramsey, PEProject Engineer

    Jenifer is a project engineer with expertise in stormwater, wastewater and site development.  Jenifer has experience in engineering design and permitting, including stormwater treatment and detention, constructed wetland design and operation, wastewater treatment, water treatment and water quality monitoring and assessment studies. She has designed Low Impact Development (LID) stormwater facilities, onsite wastewater treatment and disposal systems, onsite water treatment systems, and developed Operations and Maintenance plans for these facilities. She is a Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead and had provided sediment and erosion control expertise to clients to remain in full compliance with construction water quality permits.

    Curt is a project engineer who has been with Wilson Engineering since 2006.  He is very knowledgeable in water resources engineering.  Curt is experienced in the analysis and design of facilities and infrastructure for drinking water, stormwater, wastewater, and site development.  He is proficient in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling studies, water quality sampling, monitoring, assessment, and reporting, and Low Impact Design (LID).

  • Brian Smith, PEProject Engineer

    Brian is a project engineer with expertise in water treatment and water system design as well as wastewater treatment and conveyance.  His experience as a water quality engineer for the City of Tacoma granted him valuable insights into the design, construction management, operation, maintenance, and optimization of water treatment facilities of a vast range of sizes and complexities.  Since starting with Wilson Engineering in March 2015, he has gained expertise in water system planning, water pumping and distribution, wastewater conveyance and treatment, stormwater management, and civil site design including transportation.  Brian also is experienced in GIS mapping, hydraulic modeling, and construction administration.

  • Charles Waugh, PE, SESenior Project Engineer, Structural Department Manager

    Charles started his career as an engineer in 1978.  He is an expert in structural engineering, with over 15 years experience in the design of "significant structures".  He is experienced in the design of wood, concrete and steel structures.  In addition to numerous residential designs, he has been involved with historic building preservation, marinas and docks, seismic retrofits, office buildings, and entertainment rigging structures.  His career has been marked by innovation, and a willingness to create new forms to solve unique problems.

    Scott is one of our project engineers working primarily in the water & wastewater market since 2008.  His expertise is in city infrastructure replacement, including design and construction management of water and sewer mains, sanitary sewers, pump stations, and water/wastewater treatment plants. Other experience includes stormwater, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling,  cost estimates, facility and comprehensive planning, stream restoration, land development, and plant operations & maintenance. 

    Scott has a background in land surveying and construction management and is also the office IT manager.

    Rhett is a project engineer with expertise in stormwater and site development.  Rhett is LEED accredited and has worked in the areas of residential, commercial, and mixed use developments, roads, parking, site grading and utilities.  He is very knowledgeable when it comes to due diligence studies, master drainage plans, drainage studies, infrastructure evaluations, site redevelopment, rezones, vesting, and Architect / MEP coordination.

    Tom Brewster has been surveying since 1990 and with Wilson Engineering since 1994. Tom is the chief surveyor at Wilson with expertise in conventional and GPS land and hydrographic surveying.  He is experienced with aerial photogrammetric control, large-scale mapping and construction projects for highways, flood control districts, land development, and utilities.  Tom has many years experience with marine and river bathymetric surveys, and is a certified instructor of land surveying and mapping technologies.

  • Anthony CavenderEnvironmental Specialist / Marketing Specialist

    Anthony is experienced in evaluating projects to determine any applicable environmental permit requirements and administering the permit application process with various agencies. For seven years ending in 2014, he served on the Lake Whatcom Inter-jurisdictional Coordinating Team that develops policy recommendations and work plans for the Lake Whatcom Management Program. He has a depth of knowledge relating to natural resources management and forest ecology. He also has considerable experience with stormwater management issues and techniques, and is skilled in networking with governmental regulatory agencies and private stakeholders.

    Additionally, Anthony has over two decades of experience representing companies and making presentations at public events and business meetings. He is accomplished in developing creative marketing and outreach efforts, and skillful at enhancing client business relationships. Anthony represents the company at industry conferences and events, prepares proposals for new contracts and updates company marketing materials, in addition to other projects.
