Civil planning, permitting, engineering design and surveying services for all-weather City/County road extension project to benefit Bellingham Technical College, Birchwood neighborhood, and heavy industry.
Project work included Federal STP funding, NEPA environmental permitting, MTCA soil cleanup (arsenic contamination), archaeological monitoring, wetlands mitigation, private rail spur relocation, structural earth retaining walls, utility relocations, stormwater management and park/pedestrian trail accommodation. Engineering services extended through the project's bidding and construction phases.
